After three years of being trapped on a backwater world, Lance and Chadavia are finally able to make their way back to civilization, only to be greeted by a frigid welcome.

Project Ibex, a Veles clone of Lance has been perfected and sent to take his place for the last three years. Wreaking havoc on the galaxy Project Ibex has shaken people’s faith in humanity and undone all of the goodwill Lance fought so hard to build.

Being disavowed for the actions of his clone, it becomes a race against time for Lance as he calls in every favor he can to rebuild his team. Fighting tooth and nail every step of the way to convince former allies he is not the one responsible for countless atrocities, he must rely on new friends and a six-legged murder corgi named Loaf.
